Who We Are AmericaSmiles began as a cooperative marketing effort between a group of dentists and dental laboratories in the state of Illinois. Dentists and laboratories realized that both parties benefit when creative and relevant marketing programs are used to fill the dentist's appointment book. What began as the Southwest Dental Study Club in the southwest suburban region of Chicago evolved into the nation's first dental directory www.FindaCosmeticDentist.com. Soon after, our membership organization created IllinoisSmiles.com and then eventually AmericaSmiles.com Today, over 175 dental labs and 8000 dentists support the AmericaSmiles.com Internet Patient Referral Network which consists of over 750 independent dental directories. Our national sites are: AmericaSmiles.com FindaCosmeticDentist.com Dentist-Ratings.net We have 50 state directories: i.e. www.Illinois-Smiles.com And over 700 local directories: i.e. www.ChattanoogaSmiles.net Our network of 750+ dental directories receives over 90,000 hits PER DAY with over 6000 unique visitors PER DAY clicking beyond the first page. As a membership organization, we are able to provide focused services at a fraction of the cost of other for profit corporations. Today we continue with the same vision we had in 1994: dentists and laboratories working together toward a common goal.
